Thamy Pogrebinschi is a senior researcher at theWZB Berlin Social Science Center, faculty member of theBerlin Graduate School of Social Sciences (BGSS) at the Humboldt University Berlin, and associate researcher of the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ).
She was the founder and coordinator of theLATINNO project (2015-2021), which built the largest existing database on democratic innovations evolved in Latin America. She published several books on political theory in Brazil, and her research on participatory democracy and democratic innovations has been internationally published in dozens of book chapters and journal articles.
