Franziska Heinisch

Author | Activist

Franziska Heinisch is an author and activist at the intersection of climate and social struggles. She is convinced: social and ecological change can only go hand in hand – and this change requires real social power. That is why she co-founded the organization Justice is Global Europe, which aims to use methods of transformative organizing to build stronger alliances between the climate movement and workers in fossil fuel industries. In addition to activism, she writes about climate crisis, capitalism, labor struggles, and feminism.

In 2021, she published her book “Wir haben keine Wahl. Eine Manifest gegen das Aufgeben” (We have no choice. A manifesto against giving up).

Franziska Heinisch studies law and lives in Berlin.
