SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival 2021 takes place from 15 to 19.9.2021. Even though this year starts under the heavy influence of the covid pandemic we want to enjoy science with you, together, in Halle (Saale).
A comprehensive programme over five days with exciting films and discussions, interesting panel discussions, impressive exhibitions, and stunning light installations. Plus: A varied youth programme.
The winners of this year's SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards have been selected! The prizes were handed out digitally during an exciting online show – in cooperation with Jackson Wild. The humanoid robot "Sophia" hosted the evening and also answered questions from the international audience. SILBERSALZ brings the earth to Halle! From 18.6. to 21.6.2020 we let Luke Jerram's fascinating earth installation "Gaia" float in the middle of the St. Ulrich Church.
