Minecraft Frozen Planet

Frozen Planet 2 was created by Minecraft Education in collaboration with BBC Earth, aiming to immerse the global community in the fascinating narratives and landscapes showcased in the Frozen Planet II series.
The global learning community had the opportunity to traverse five immersive worlds, each embodying one of Earth's frigid habitats and populated by remarkable animals never before introduced in Minecraft. The worlds within Minecraft were inspired by stories from Frozen Planet II, a notable series from BBC Studios' Natural History Unit.
For the first time, players were able to embody a Minecraft mob. They had firsthand experience of the trials of hunting a seal, protecting their cubs, and collecting nectar. Moreover, they had the chance to play as an environmental researcher, with a mission to document animal behaviors on-site.
The worlds of Frozen Planet II were supplemented with educational resources like science lesson plans, instructional videos, teaching PowerPoints, and animal fact sheets. These resources inspired learning about the significance of our frozen worlds and the impacts of climate change.
