Last year in September, The Polarstern research ship has set sail. For a whole year, it was drifting, frozen into the ice floe, through one of the coldest and most remote places on earth. MOSAiC, an international mission, involving hundreds of scientists from more than 20 nations - led by the Alfred-Wegener-Institute (AWI). Onboard, a photographer and a documentary crew, accompanying scientists on their daily excursions, (consuming) a huge mountain of scientific information, shadowing the daily life of the crew 25/24. It is not only the biggest Arctic expedition of all time but also a milestone for climate research. Experience multidisciplinary nature of science, and storytelling, featuring the most unpredictable forces of nature at the epicenter of global warming.
