Sebastian Sorg is a creative producer and consultant as well as project developer and lecturer in the field of dramaturgy and financing for film and XR. He has lived and worked in Munich since 2001.
In addition to his master’s degree in literature and political sciences, Sebastian Sorg graduated at University of Television and Film in Munich before working as film director and managing the film market of DOK.fest Munich. He moved to FilmFernsehFonds Bayern as a funding officer, where he has been a deputy member of the XR Awards Committee since 2020. As a member of the advisory board, he was and is active, among others, at the Zurich Film Foundation, for the Swiss Federal Office of Culture (BAK), at the Federal Ministry of Culture in Austria (BMKÖS) as well as in several committees of the Creative Europe Programme of the EU Commission and EURIMAGES.
