Martina Schuegraf (Dr. phil.) is a media scientist and freelance researcher and as such is active in media education. She was most recently professor for "Theory and Empirical Research on Media Convergence" in the "Digital Media Culture" program at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
She is a board member of the The Association for Media Education and Communication Culture (GMK) and member of the Speakers' Council in the German Cultural Council as well as member of various expert committees of the DKR.
Her work focuses on processes of media convergence, social media and popular culture analysis as well as celebrity studies.
