Magda is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, passionate about making science accessible to everyone. She has co-produced Unheard of: The hidden voice of endometriosis podcast series as well as multiple popular science videos, that won awards at the Fast Forward Science competition. 

Magda’s passion for science communication started already during her undergraduate degree, when she first started exploring the idea of making complicated scientific topics fun and accessible. She partnered up with her sister Zuzana, and together they created multiple award-winning videos.

Moreover, Magda has been passionate about explaining genetics and endometriosis to pupils, developing and delivering workshops on single-cell genomics, endometriosis and female reproductive health in primary and secondary school classrooms.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Reproductive Biology (Edinburgh University, UK), master’s degree in Regenerative Biology and Medicine (TU Dresden, Germany) and recently finished her PhD (University of Oxford, UK) studying endometrium and endometriosis cell by cell.
