Lynn Bauer is a master student at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Bernburg in the field of nature conservation and landscape planning. Before that she studied physical engineering at the Westsächsischen university Zwickau (FH) and completed in the connection a Bachelor in nature protection and landscape planning at the university of applied sciences Anhalt.

Since the beginning of the year she has also been working at the Prof. Hellriegel Institut e.V. and within numerous projects of the Nature Conservation & Faunistics working group.
Both within her studies and her work at the Hellriegel Institute, as well as within her private engagement, she deals with environmental, nature and species protection and corresponding ecological contexts. Since 2017 she has been involved in the butterfly monitoring program coordinated by the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ).
