Dennis Chiponda was born in 1991 in Lusatia and identifies himself as a queer East German Afropolitan. After graduating from high school, he worked as a dancer for a while and later started studying politics in Leipzig. He is involved in the SPD as chairman of the Ag Migration and Diversity. He founded the association Leipzig spricht and is part of Generation Grenzenlos. Today he works for the foundation Bürger für Bürger in the project Jugendstil, which promotes young (post)migrant engagement in East Germany. He founded the association Leipzig spricht, is part of Generation Grenzenlos, moderates events, gives workshops and advises volunteer structures on diversity management.
