Translator (English/German)
Documentary Campus is looking for freelance translators to support the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival, taking place in Halle (Saale), Germany, from October 28 to November 1, 2026.
SILBERSALZ is an international festival at the intersection of film, science and society, bringing together screenings, talks, installations and immersive experiences.
Your tasks
- Translation and subtitling of 1–3 English-language films
- Translation of festival catalogue texts and PR materials
- Optional: live interpretation during public talks with international guests
Your profile
- Excellent English and German language skills
- Experience in translation and/or subtitling
- Interest in film, science and science communication
- Reliable and independent working style
We offer
