The book "Kaugummi und Verflixungen" by Andrea Karimé and Anne-Kathrin Behl for children aged 6 and older is about a boy, whom everyone just calls "the grey one", who lives with his sick mother in a big city and about Huma, who is new to his class and apparently carries a secret with her. Sarah Lutzemann reads excerpts from this book about an unequal friendship.
