Dr. Renate Treffeisen is an environmental engineer and currently working at Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven, Germany. She is head of the “Climate Office for Polar Regions and Sea Level Rise” and operates at the interface of science and society. She is responsible for knowledge transfer at the REKLIM network.
