The date of the next SILBERSALZ edition has been set: from September 15 to 19, 2021 - in Halle, of course!
15 gripping films - including exclusive premieres, short films and gripping midnight thrills - six talks with well-known experts* and three fascinating installations offered the opportunity to participate in current discourses on science, technology and society from October 14-18.
SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival - from September 15 - 19 2021
With a diverse program of films, lectures, and exhibitions, the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival is focusing on the many aspects of planet earth. The free audience program is accompanied by the international SILBERSALZ conference at the renowned National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.
For the first time, the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards – in cooperation with Jackson Wild – will also honor creative and stimulating media projects in science communication. The award ceremony will be streamed live on 15.10. at 20:00 on our Facebook profile. All nominated films at a glance: nominees.
