A discussion at the interface between activism, climate change, fiction and society

2019 has been clearly marked by thousands of school children going to strike over climate and environmental justice. They have found allies from all (parts) of the society, joined forces with scientists - all in all, demanding immediate action from govenments worldwide. Science-fiction authors* have written about the human impact on environment for years, like Frank Schätzing describing the ruthless exploitation of the world's oceans by man and how nature would take its revenge in a mysterious and very effective way. Why not discussing a vision of the future, which does not include the reality of climate change?
