Oscar is the Founder of the Fundación Ciencia Joven (Youth Science Foundation) a charity that works to improve STEM education in Latin America, working in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay; Executive Director of the Ecoscience Foundation a philanthropic foundation that aims to bridge the gap between science and society, and; he is also the Hub Manager of the Falling Walls Engage Hub Argentina

Oscar’s expertise is in working with companies at a regional level to develop private partnerships. He was responsible for implementing one of the first STEM community engagement program at the first Google data centre in Latin America. He is a Laureate Global fellow of the International Youth Foundation, IVLP fellow from the US State Department, and a Ship for World Youth Fellow of the Government of Japan. 

Oscar holds a Master in Public Policy from the University of Chile, a diploma in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at The University of Chicago and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
