Max Permantier is a Funding Executive at FFF Bayern, where he oversees funding for Extended Reality (XR, VR, AR, MR and 3D sound). In this role, he works at the intersection of film, media and technology, supporting innovative projects and contributing to the development of Bavaria’s XR ecosystem.
He studied at the ifs internationale filmschule cologne and gained professional experience as a creative producer, screenwriter and production manager, working on fiction films, series and transmedia projects.
Max has served as a jury member at the DOK.digital Munich, the ArtTech Prize, the Luxembourg Film Award and the Festival of the Future. As a panelist and speaker, he has contributed to international industry platforms such as the Venice Film Festival, NewImages Paris, DocSalon Berlin, VR Days Luxembourg and others, where he engages in discussions on the role of XR in culture and the creative industries.
