Jack Pop

Jack Pop is a science entertainer and presenter from Leipzig. Four times a year, he stages his science show "Circus of Science" there. Since 2019, he has been hosting the YouTube channel "Science vs. Fiction" for the knowledge editorial team of the Central German Broadcasting, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, where he and invited experts put Hollywood films, series and computer games under the scientific microscope. From the more than 140 videos, he developed an explosive experiments live show in 2022, which he has since used to test the safety concepts of German venues.
He also hosts cosplay conventions in a Pokémon shirt, has programmed a WLAN pub quiz that has been held biweekly in Leipzig pubs since 2016, and played guitar in a wedding band for three years after graduating. During this time, there was cake for him every Friday and Saturday, which he still calls the happiest time of his life.
Jack Pop studied journalism and English at the University of Leipzig for 11 years. That's something someone should try to imitate.
