Christian Schwägerl is a journalist, book author and co-founder of RiffReporter eG. After training at the German School of Journalism and studying biology, he first worked as a correspondent at the Berliner Zeitung, then at FAZ and SPIEGEL. He has been a freelance journalist since 2012 and writes for GEO, FAZ, Yale E360 and other media. He is the author of the books "Menschenzeit" about the Anthropozän, "11 bedrohende Kriege" about global conflict risks and "Analogoge Revolution" about the future of digital technologies. Since 2014, Schwägerl has headed the Robert Bosch Stiftung's Master Class in Science Journalism.
