About "Climate in Therapy"
Climate scientists under pressure:
when expertise alone is no longer enough, a weekend of group therapy may help.
What happens when the climate crisis challenges not only our knowledge, but also our emotions?
In "Climate in Therapy", director Nathan Grossman brings together seven renowned climate scientists for an extraordinary weekend. Instead of focusing on research and data, they take part in group therapy sessions. Between NASA experts, a former intelligence officer, and specialists in extreme weather and food security, an open conversation emerges about anxiety, helplessness, responsibility, and hope.
Guided by an experienced therapist with empathy and humour, the participants explore how those who warn the world about future crises must also learn to confront their own emotions.
A powerful documentary about the human side of science and the strength that comes from facing difficult realities together.
