Nina Alexandria Riggio
Nina Alexandria Riggio is a director and visual storyteller exploring the intersection of humans and the natural world through gritty, raw, and unexpected narratives. With over a decade of experience, her work has been featured by National Geographic, TIME, The New York Times, and Patagonia. Based between Santa Fe and California, Nina is currently directing films on bear migrations in the desert, the transition away from coal along the Colorado–New Mexico border, and orca-boat interactions in the Iberian Peninsula. A Jackson Wild Media Fellow and member of Women Photograph, she brings a distinctive “cowgirl punk” style shaped by years of climbing, backcountry expeditions, and field research.
