Katja Trippel 

Katja Trippel is a journalist specializing in nature and science. She writes non-fiction books and for magazines such as GEO, mare and atmo; her series “Natur: Ganz großes Kino” is published there as well as on riffreporter.de. Until 2025, she headed the programme at the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival, having previously worked as an editor for GEO’s print and TV department. She currently advises, among others, the “Films for Future” festival in Zurich. She lives in Lyon.
