Staff member (m/f/d) Festival office - Ticketing

Your tasks include:

  • Entering and managing all events on our ticket portal
  • Creating and maintaining the registration lists for the conference/festival  programme and preparing them for the respective locations
  • Accreditation of our guests
  • Creating and sending invitation letters and mailings
  • Supervising and organising our ticket box in the run-up to the festival as well as during the festival and training the festival helpers there
  • Assisting with the distribution of our materials

Skills needed:

  • A communicative and friendly manner
  • Fluent German and English (writing / speaking)

  • Ideally already have some experience in festival work or ticketing

Staff member (m/f/d)  -  Guestmanagement

Your tasks include:

Travel bookings for our guests from the fields of science/media and art and corresponding communication with the travel agency.
Administration and organisation of the hotel contingents, communication with the hotels
Writing and distribution of mailings and welcome packages for our speakers and guests
Accreditation of our guests on site
Being the contact person for guests before and during the festival  
Instructing and supervising the festival drivers incl. drawing up the timetables
Instructing and supervising our festival helpers at the info desk in the hotel

Intern (m/w/d) - Subtitling and translations (English / German)

Your tasks:

  • Translation and subtitling of 1-3 English-language films based on existing dialogue scripts in alignment with the film (under professional guidance).

Skills needed:

  • Ideally a degree in translation studies, English studies or similar and some experience in the field of (simultaneous) translation
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • A desire to work with films on current scientific topics
  • Reliability and an independent way of working
  • Ability to work in a team
