Dr. Roman Wittig

Dr. Roman Wittig is Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany, and Director of the Tai Chimpanzee Project in Ivory Coast. He is a behavioural ecologist investigating behaviour, communication and cognition of wild chimpanzees and other primate species in the wild, especially bonobos, mangabeys and baboons, to understand human evolution.
