Rainer Kurlemann

Rainer Kurlemann has worked as a journalist for more than 30 years. After holding various positions at the Rheinische Post, including editor-in-chief of the online editorial department and head of the service department, the doctor of chemistry has since worked as a freelance author and science journalist. Since 2019 he has been a member of the supervisory board of the innovative journalism project "Riffreporter", for which he also writes as a "future reporter". His focus is on scientific topics. 
For years he observed the development of genetic engineering and was inspired by it for his gripping crime thriller debut "The Geranium Man".
