Peter Onneken is an investigative journalist and filmmaker. He has received numerous awards, including the German Business Film Award, the German-Polish Journalism Award and the CIVIS Media Prize. He works mainly on long formats for the ARD and the WDR. Previously, he spent years working for the political magazine "Monitor" and the business magazine "Plusminus". Until 2012 he was duty editor for the business magazine of the Hessischer Rundfunk. In 2007, he worked for CNN in Atlanta and New York as part of the Arthur Burns Fellowship. Before his traineeship at the Hessischer Rundfunk, he served as a reporter and stock market correspondent for Bloomberg TV in London and Frankfurt. He studied political science in Frankfurt, Leicester and Lund.
