Dr. Liat Yakir | Speaker at SILBERSALZ Conference 2019
Liat Yakir holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Her studies examine topics in Biochemistry, Genetics and Evolution. In recent years, Liat served as Youth Science Activities Director at the Davidson Institute of Science Education - the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute and as a developer of curricular digital-content in Biology at CET (Center of Educational Technology). Today Dr. Yakir study and lecture on the evolutionary roots of human behavior (male and female). Liat is very passionate for science communication for the benefit of society and her TedX Talk on the 'Science of Love' is one of the popular in the topic.
