Award-winning filmmaker and biologist Judith König has worked for more than 20 years as a writer and director for different German public broadcasters, such as ARD, ZDF, NDR, WDR, SWR and ARTE, focussing on science, medicine and the environment. Unravelling the wonders and secrets of life motivated her to study biology. This fascination is still the driving force behind her work as a film director. She believes that moving images are the perfect medium to captivate audiences and make people marvel at the mysteries of nature.
