SILBERSALZ is an international, innovative film and science festival that will take place for the 2nd time in Halle (Saale) from 20.6. - 23.6. 2019. With a combination of film screenings, installations, lectures, and workshops, SILBERSALZ's aim is to provide the general public with access to scientific topics and to allow them to ask questions, thereby promoting a lively and active engagement with science in general. The festival is an initiative of Robert Bosch Stiftung and Documentary Campus.
We are still looking for volunteers for the following tasks:
Set-up and dismantling of interactive exhibitions, stages, etc.
Required: technical and craft skills
Dates: 17.06. - 20.06.19, 23.06.19 - 24.06.19; approx. 8 hours/day + break
Support: Public exhibitions
Required: communication skills, very good German + good English language skills
Dates: 20.06.19, 23.06.19 - 24.06.19; approx. 8 hours/day
Support: film programme
visitor admission, support of the film Q&A, taking care of room decoration
Required: very good knowledge of German + English
Dates: 20.06.- 23.06.2019; approx. 8 hours/day
Info desk/Ticketbox/Visitor-Information
Required: communication skills, very good German + good English language skills
Dates: from 06.06.- 23.06.2019; times by agreement
Festival center: support of talks (microphone), visitors entrance, and presentations
Required: mac and general pc-skills, especially PowerPoint
Dates: 20.06.- 23.06.2019; approx. 8 hours/daily
Conference accreditation and general support
Required: well organized, kind appearance, very good English skills
Dates: 20.06.- 23.06.2019; approx. 8 hours/daily
Driver: Transfer of our prominent guests from science and media;
from the airport Halle/Leipzig and the main station to their hotel and the festival locations
Required: secure driving, very good English skills
Dates: 17.06. – 23.06.2019; times by agreement
Wage: 10€/hour
