Jayde ist die Gründerin von "ReAgency Science Communication" - Amerikas erste PR-Agentur ausschließlich für die Wissenschaft. Sie ist auch Host des beliebten YouTube-Kanals ScIQ, der von den Google Studios in New York City betrieben wird.

Nach dem Studium der Neurowissenschaften und einem Master-Abschluss in Science Communications an der Universität von Melbourne wurde Jayde als Vice President of Digital für Weber Shandwick, der weltweit größten PR-Agentur rekrutiert. Nachdem sie gesehen hatte, wie leicht Wissenschaft für Profit missbraucht werden konnte, entschied sie, dass ihre Karriere einer Veränderung bedurfte. Ihr erster großer Schritt war nach New York City, wo sie ReAgency gründete, mit der Vision, ausschließlich mit Kunden aus den Bereichen Wissenschaft und Information zusammenzuarbeiten. Zu ihren Kunden zählen jetzt die NASA, Yale, Columbia, die New York Academy of Science und die American Association for the Advancement of Science. Jayde spricht häufig auf Konferenzen wie South by Southwest und Orten wie Google und YouTube.

Jayde hält ein BASc und Masters of Science Communication (Universität von Melbourne).

Pitch-off of innovative science concepts supported by Falling Walls Foundation

With the support of Falling Walls Foundation, we have invited 10 scientists to present a pitch-off of research projects to be transformed into a viral story across media channels. Following each pitch by an up-and-coming scientist, a panel of media experts will share feedback on the potential they see in each project and offer insights from the perspective of their area of expertise and industry specialization. In addition, up to 3 scientists from the audience have the chance to win the opportunity to present a wildcard pitch and share their latest research on stage.
